One week down in our journey to lose weight and get healthier. We haven't started any exercise programs or anything like that. My focus has been on cooking real food and trying not to snack between meals. I've done fairly well with it, and I am getting more comfortable with cooking. Last night I spent several hours preparing vegetables for salad and putting them in mason jars in the fridge to make them last longer. I would eat a salad every day, but I hate taking the time to make one, so I hope this make things slightly easier.
Chris has struggled this week.. I am going to rearrange the furniture and move his recumbent bike into the living room so he can use it. He does much better when he adds exercise to his daily routine.
