This has been a long week. It has rained almost every day, so I haven't had the chance to walk like I would like to. Then, Friday the fam and I ate out at a Chinese buffet. I didn't restrict myself as far as my food choices, but I did manage to eat a sensible amount and to stop when I was full rather than stuffing myself as I normally would. I was sure that this messed up all my hard work for this week and I really dreaded getting back on the scales this morning.
Next weeks looks to be rainy and wet as well. I don't mind walking in the rain with an umbrella, but I can't drag my kids out there with me if I am going to walk in the rain. I will have to figure out another option. I suppose I could walk the halls in the school, but I don't think that will be as motivating to me as walking outside, and I think the walking that I did do this week (about 4.26 miles) really made a difference in my weight loss this week. Here's my weigh in:
Week 1 - 324.4 lbs ( -4.2 lbs )
I can't even express how happy this makes me. This makes me feel like I really can do this. My first major goal is going to be getting under 300 lbs. For once, I feel like that's achievable.
